As the sun starts to come through at the end of April, the sun was definitely shining on Rath Gaul Hill owned by Kevin Price on the 19th April when we made the long journey to Ayr for the SEKO LOGISTICS SCOTLAND NOVICES’ LIMITED HANDICAP CHASE (3) he jumped brilliantly through out the race and when Robbie Dunn asked him to go and win the race he obliged in great style.
Blue Ridge Hill owned by Julia Venvell & Drinkwater Family ran into a respectable 4th at Hexam and could do with slightly better ground so hopefully we will get another run sometime in May.
Aeroplane Blond owned by Anthony R Hunt & Joe Tumilty was our third runner of the April month and he ran into a pleasingly 3rd place on the 13th of April at Newcastle ridden by Robbie Dunn who gave this debutante a lovely confident and educating experience on his first time at the racecourse.
Aeroplane Blond was a horse we purchased at the Doncaster Store Sales in 2023 so as you can imagine everyone was happy to see all the hard work paying off.
With the National Hunt season coming to a close, what does May have in store for the Sam Drinkwater racing you may ask ? Well we do still have horses in training which will appreciate this drying ground so we will look to find a race for them and Sam and his Team will be attending the Doncaster Sales looking for the up and coming star of the future.
